The Lake View Resort
A Home on the Backwaters
Lake View Resort sits directly on the backwaters of Cherai, one of Kerala's most photogenic coastal villages — a narrow spit of land where the Arabian Sea on one side and a maze of tranquil lagoons on the other sit just minutes apart. The property is designed around that water: rooms with private balconies and sit-outs facing the lagoon, a poolside courtyard framed by hand-painted Kathakali murals, and an elevated pool deck that looks straight out over the mangroves.

Our Location
Cherai, Ernakulam District, Kerala
Cherai is a coastal village about an hour from Kochi, known for its long, clean beach, swaying coconut groves and the backwaters that run parallel to the coastline. Lake View Resort sits right on this backwater stretch, a short drive from Cherai Beach itself, making it an easy base for beach mornings, backwater evenings and everything in between.

Designed for experience
Kerala-Rooted Design
The design leans into Kerala's own materials and craft — sloped tiled roofs, teakwood furniture, cane chairs, and a small traditional shrine on the grounds — layered with contemporary interiors, art prints and modern comforts inside every room.
